Reporting Sexual Harassment to Your Employer
If you believe you have been unlawfully harassed, provide a written complaint to your supervisor, or any other company supervisor, or the president or owner of the company as soon as possible after the incident has occurred.
Your complaint should include details of the incident or incidents, names of the individuals involved, and the names of any witnesses.
The Company should immediately undertake an effective, thorough, and objective investigation of the harassment allegations.
If the Company determines that unlawful harassment has occurred, effective remedial actions should be taken in accordance with the circumstance involved. Any employee determined by the Company to be responsible for unlawful harassment should be subject to the appropriate disciplinary action, up to, and including, termination.
A representative of the Company should advise all parties concerned of the results of the investigation. It is unlawful for your employer to retaliate against you for filing a harassment complaint.
